Yea! We're the first commenters...commentors?? Anyway, Nanna and Papa are here with me and loved the St. Patty's episode.
Nanna says she "loves his smile (Chase's of course) and the theme. We're anxious to see him in person - he's getting so big! Great job Mom and Dad!" Papa agrees.
Now you say that you read the comments and I believe you, but I've asked a couple questions (or at least one) in the last two comments I've posted and haven't gotten a response yet! So look back and I'll wait patiently. :)
I remember that I wanted a Maya sling but for some reason didn't get it but I think it's a great purchase from what I've heard!
Good job being the first to comment, Katie. You get "Relative of the Week" honors for this episode! Also glad you're helping mom & dad watch it -- I get the sense they need your support! I'll check out the previous posts to see what I didn't answer...
Okay, Katie, I just looked back and the only thing I notice that you're asking about is the infamous "Ski Boot 'Which is Bigger?'" The answer: I don't know!
They were almost identical in size, which is what gave me the idea to put them beside each other (and the fact that Jo had put him in that red outfit which reminded me of the color of my boots.)
I didn't weigh the boot to see which weighs more (it's got to be close) but as far as I'm concerned that was a dead tie.
If each week you drink the equivalent of Chase's weight in Guinness... (at some point there has to be a winning stat for the Guinness Book of World Records).
I know that Reed is a big fan of DVD commentary, and I must say that all those edits are really making me wonder what I'm missing. I can't wait to buy the deluxe box set of the Chase Report with ten hours of bonus features and the full length director's cut. Alternately, maybe you guys could do a live feed like they do on the news networks so we can see what's going on between the edits...
Also, while I realize that the womb sounds are doing wonders for Chase, is there any concern about what they are doing to the Mom and Dad? Is there some sort of subliminal thing going on? Are you spending more time in the fetal position? Watch for the warning signs...
CRM, the edits are necessary to delete all the rambling that would otherwise turn the Chase Report into a telethon-length program. Fortunately for all of our viewers, YouTube has a 10-minute limit, so I have to cut ruthlessly when Joanna and I get rambling.
As for the womb sounds, the only problem seems to occur when I have them playing when I'm driving the car, since they seem to put me to sleep...

Which is bigger? Chase or a leprechaun?
ReplyDeleteIf the leprechaun stands on his pot of gold, he'd definitely be taller, but Chase may have him in total weight. (The boy is a bit of a porker.)

ReplyDeleteGreat Report, and Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
