Happy Spring! Great to see increased participation in the Report; fortunately Chase is more animated and vocal than Bird. Looking at those cheeks, we suspect there is no danger of dimples in the future (or maybe those are INVERTED dimples). Our challenge for "Which is Bigger?" in two weeks -- Chase is equal to how many Peeps? We guess 454 based on yellow chicken Peeps.
Here here to the vaccinations...in my mind, as much of a civic responsibility as voting and jury duty. I think it is always the correct choice to stand strong in the face of fear-mongering, be it about vaccines or terrorism or socialized medicine's death panels. The small risks incurred for the benefit of all seem like just another facet of the social contract.
And, since I don't think the U.S. Census is a conspiracy from Big Brother, do you realize that Chase came just in time to be counted?
Gemni, his grandmother has enthusiastically dubbed him "Cheeks Chase." As for the Peeps challenge, that idea has been taken under advisement. I hope you recognize that last week's Guinness challenge was inspired by your Peeps idea several episodes ago. Yes, we are listening to our few (and highly valued!) viewers!
CRM, I knew you'd have my back on the vaccination thing, even though it is now common knowledge that every child who is vaccinated immediately gets autism. That's going to be a hassle down the line.
Not only will Chase be counted in the Census, I've been trying to get him to fill the dang form out. I just don't have the time...
I LOVE your vaccination comment!!! Oh, and we had a blast visiting with Chase this week. Thanks for sharing your Chase report =) He is a fantastic little guy!
I'm a little late in watching this episode but Chase stole the show! Wish I could get over more to see him. And just a note about warming up milk. If Jo stores it in milk bags, it is a lot easier to warm up the milk (both faster and more evenly) in the bags and then pour into the bottle as opposed to warming it up in the bottle. Not sure if you're already doing that but thought it might be helpful. Love you all!!
